Cheeries Series

The Cheery Series is a study of formal elements and color. Erik developed his wire stem approach with the Cheery Series, which utilizes wire armature to support the stem. The clay around the wire gets a rough cracked texture when fired, resembling woody stems nature - also available in the Bosc Series. The slender stems contrasting with plump fruit form provides a visual edge to bring cheer into a room.
